The Laws of Attraction: What You Focus on Grows (So Choose Wisely!)
Let’s talk about something that’s been around longer than bell bottoms and bad perms: the Laws of Attraction. You’ve probably heard the phrase, “You attract what you focus on.” It might sound a little woo-woo at first, but stick with me—it’s more than just a bumper sticker or something your yoga teacher says after a deep exhale.

Here’s the deal: Your thoughts, your beliefs, and yes, even your “vibe” are shaping your life. If you're always thinking people are shady or out to get you, guess what? You’ll keep bumping into shady characters. If you constantly talk about how exhausted and run-down you are, your body is going to say, “Oh! That’s our vibe now. Cool, cool. Let me give you more of that.”
But—and here’s the good news—this whole thing works both ways.
When you start shifting your focus to the good stuff—like the kindness of strangers, the miracle that your body got you out of bed today, or the simple joy of sipping coffee while everyone leaves you alone for five blessed minutes—that is what you start attracting more of.
It’s not about faking happiness or ignoring life’s challenges (we’re grown women—we know life throws curveballs). It’s about choosing, every day, to lean a little more into the light than the dark. It’s about building a mindset where peace, positivity, and trust aren’t rare unicorns—they’re your daily companions.
Now, don’t expect to turn into a joy magnet overnight. This isn’t a 7-day positivity cleanse. This is a lifestyle. A mindset makeover. A decision to live with your eyes (and heart) open to what’s possible.
So here’s your homework—don’t worry, it’s the fun kind:This week, look for the beauty in someone you normally overlook. Celebrate something small in your life like it’s a big deal (because it is). Tell yourself you're healthy, strong, and radiant—even if you feel more like a human breadstick some days.
Keep your energy light, your heart open, and your focus locked in on the good.
Because believe me—the good is already out there. It's just waiting for you to notice it... and invite it in for coffee.
